Beyoncé’s Mom Endorses A Ghanaian Designer - PHOTO

When Beyoncé’s mom, Mrs. Tina Lawson visited Ghana in December, 2019 for the “Year of Return,” she made sure to take back home some beautiful memorabilia to remind her of her trip.

One of such items was a suit from popular Ghanaian designer, Christie Brown.

The businesswomen and fashion designer, shared a picture of herself in a beautiful Christie Brown suit and she made sure to let the world know who made it.

“Hi This suit is by Christie Brown a talented Ghanaian designer . She mixes traditional African prints with pin stripes and the pants are very cool. ❤️ I got it in Ghana ❤️ @christiebrowngh this was a great photographer. (marcus.branch) he is in Philly❤️,” she captioned the photo of her in the suit.

Christie Brown is a popular fashion house founded by Aisha Obuobi in 2008. The label was named after her grandmother, Christie Brown who was a seamstress.
