Coronavirus: Leader Of Spain's Catalonia Tests Positive

Quim Torra, the regional leader of Spain's Catalonia tested positive for the coronavirus and will be going into self-isolation in a government building.

The spokesperson for the Catalan Executive, Meritxell Bud, annouced the sad news at a Monday press conference that Torra tested positive for coronavirus after he experienced cough and fever.

Mr. Bud also disclosed that the Catalan president will continue to work in isolation from the official presidential residence, Casa dels Canonges.

The news comes a day after the vice president of the Catalan government, Pere Aragons, also tested positive for coronavirus.
