COVID-19: Kantamanto Used Clothes Sellers Association Eye $100 Million Allocated Fund

Chairman for Kantamanto used clothes sellers association, Evans Ofori-Atta, has said his Association needs to be apportioned some percentage of the COVID-19 allocated funds due to the terrible conditions facing their business.

Complaining bitterly on UTV’s late news discussion, the Kantamanto used clothes sellers association Chairman pointed out that the coronavirus outbreak has made them loose greater portions of their business capital, which has left their conditions of living terrible as it keeps putting stress and panic in them each day.

This he declared has happened due to the periodic payments members of the association has to make to the banks from which they receive loans to do business with.

“We need to be given some percentage of the coronavirus US$100 million allocated funds to sort our debtors who keep harassing us for their money each and every day due to the pandemic outbreak  that has hit the country. Government must come to our aid because we pay most of the taxes accumulated by the state for development purposes,” he said.

Evans Ofori-Atta further charged President Akufo-Addo to lead the nation in prayer believing the lord will hear us and heal our land.

“Since you have already said the battle is the Lord's, this is the time to show those signs of trusting in God to save our country, I don’t think any Ghanaian will complain when you declare some spiritual exercises to be observed in way of fighting the COVID-19,” he insisted.
