NDC Begins Three Days Of Fasting And Prayers Against Covid-19 Tomorrow
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will tomorrow Friday 20th March, 2020 commence three-day fasting and prayers for the nation in the wake of the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement signed by Sammy Gyamfi, Communications officer of the Party, he added that the National Zongo Caucus Coordinator and other executives of the NDC will also call on the National Chief Imam tomorrow, Friday 20th March, 2020 for a private Muslim prayer session.
“The three (3) day program shall be climaxed with a Fasting and Prayer Service on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020. This event shall be broadcast live on several media platforms from the Office of the Flagbearer of the NDC, where a total of twenty (20) people made up of the flagbearer and leader of the NDC, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the National Chairman, the General Secretary and other members of the Functional Executive Committee of the party and a few men of God shall converge to pray to the Almighty God for His speedy intervention in the dire COVID-19 situation on our hands, a portion of the statement read.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to inform its teeming supporters and the general public that the publicly announced three (3) day of fasting and prayer against the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic shall commence as scheduled.
As part of this program, the National Zongo Caucus Coordinator and other executives of the NDC shall call on the National Chief Imam tomorrow, Friday 20th March, 2020 for a private Muslim prayer session.
The three (3) day program shall be climaxed with a Fasting and Prayer Service on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020. This event shall be broadcast live on several media platforms from the Office of the Flag-bearer of the NDC, where a total of twenty (20) people made up of the flag-bearer and leader of the NDC, H.E. All members of the NDC and the general public are encouraged to actively participate in this all-important service via Power FM, TV XYZ, Ahotor FM, Class FM, Accra FM, Woezor TV and the NDC communication bureau page on Facebook and Twitter. We are all entreated to fast and pray from our respective homes and work places against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic throughout this period.
