The flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) , former President John Dramani Mahama, has  extended his support to health workers of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) in the Northern Region towards the fight against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donated by the NDC flag bearer included 1,000 pairs of surgical gloves, 100 full gowns and 100 gum boots to help protect the health workers of the facility in the discharge of their duties.

The gesture forms part of an NDC-led nationwide distribution of the PPE to some health facilities across the country.

Presentation

The Northern Regional Chairman of the NDC, Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila, handed over the items on behalf of the party's flag bearer to the authorities of the hospital at a brief ceremony held at the hospital last Thursday.
