COVID-19: Dr. Amoako Tuffuor Outlines Alternatives To Elect Candidates

The NPP has suspended its April 25, 2020, parliamentary primaries indefinitely in accordance with the President’s ban on public gatherings following a National Steering Committee meeting held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

The primaries was to elect parliamentary candidates in constituencies where it has sitting Members of Parliament, ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Dr Amoako Tuffuor, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) speaking on Neat FM's 'Me Man Nti' programme says since the lockdown has been lifted, other measures to prevent the spread can be adhered to while delegates vote for their preferred candidate.
