The NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency, George Mireku Dukar says he is disappointed that some Ghanaians have refused to believe the reality of Coronavirus in the country.

In an interview on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' program, the MP was worried at how some citizens have just decided not to believe periodic reports on the disease as it keeps spreading despte the measure put in place by the Ghana Health Service and Government.

According to him the saddest aspect of the Coronavirus in the country is how some men of God react to the reality on the ground.

"How can you say that by fasting and prayers COVID-19 cannot survive in you? Fine, even if that is your believe how will you know the level of faith of the one you will come into contact with?" he sought to know.

The NPP MP called on authorities involved in creating awareness on the disease to come down to the level of the ordinary Ghanaian for a clearer understanding of the disease to help curtail the spread of the virus.
