Bisa Kdei's Career Not Dead; He's Only Diverted Attention - Fredyma

Legendary music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah popularly known as Fredyma says he disagrees with critics who claim highlife artiste Bisa Kdei's music career is dead.

According to him, Bisa Kdei is still vibrant in the music industry and keeps churning out songs.

Fredyma noted that the 'Mansa' hit maker's songs seem to have been buried in the local music scene because he and his team are not doing enough to make Ghanaian music lovers appreciate his works.

He told host Akwasi Aboagye on Thursday's 'Entertainment Review' on Peace FM that Bisa Kdei has become inactive in Ghana because he has concentrated his efforts on making great exploits internationally, thus marketing his music across borders.

He recounted that the artiste has been performing in foreign countries and he appears missing in Ghana's music industry because his team is not making noise about his achievements.

Fredyma further reprimanded Bisa Kdei over his recent comments that the "media is fake" and that the media has been paid to stop playing his songs on the air waves.

He advised him together with his management to focus on making his hard work and music resonate with Ghanaians and stop the needless utterances so he will not become irrelevant.

"His career is dying out because once the talent is there and he can still write songs, he can do everything. It is rather unfortunate that his public relationship or his utterances in terms of how he relates with the public didn't go well. Because if you can say the media doesn't play your songs because they have been paid, such utterance is distasteful . . . but it is untrue for any person to say Bisa Kdei is going down in terms of his music artistry or his businesswise or his wealth acquisition," Fred Kyei Mensah stated.
