KP Boateng Ready To Return To Black Stars

Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has hinted at a possible return to the Black Stars.

The Beşiktaş midfielder is currently serving an indefinite suspension from the Ghana National team after a confrontation with former Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Boateng together with Sulley Muntari were sacked from the Ghana camp before the team’s final group match against Portugal after what was described as a disruptive behavior during one of the team’s training session.

The 33-year-old was said to have issued out foul words at Kwesi Appiah during a training session.

”My relationship with Ghana is still intact. I still feel close to them,” the former Barcelona player said.

”With the national team, I didn’t like the way it ended because they gave me so much.

“But you never know, maybe I can go back and play one more time again. Or maybe the coach, you never know.”

The midfielder was an instrumental member of Ghana’s squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup where he scored in the team’s round of 16 match against the USA.
