“Happy Man Surprise The Next Presenter Initiative"

More Radio Presenters in the Upper East Region are receiving surprise packages from Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters, Happy.

Man Ginger Liqueur, and Onaapo Atadwe Ginger under it’s novel initiative called “Happy Man Surprise the Next Presenter”.

The initiative, instituted to recognise and acknowledge Radio Personalities in the Northern and Upper Regions is aimed at appreciating the media personalities for their contribution to risk communication on the Coronavirus pandemic and to encourage them to continue to use their platforms to sensitize their listeners to adhere to the laid down safety protocols in the fight against COVID-19.

Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey noted that radio personalities are major influencers in the fight against the novel Coronavirus, hence the need to recognize and encourage them to do more in the ongoing fight against the disease.

“We believe that this token will go a long way to support radio presenters in the region as well provide a platform to increase awareness and to prompt people not to let their guard down until such a time when we have defeated this pandemic,” he said.

The initiative, triggered the surprise presentation of a brand new Motorbike to DJ Lexis of Word fm in Zuarungu.

In another set of presentation, 23 presenters from across 11 radio stations in the region received cash gifts totaling Ghc10,000.

The beneficiary presenters and DJ’s are drawn from Radio stations in the Upper East region including Yem Radio, Word FM, A1 Radio, Ura Radio, Nabina Radio, Pio Fm, Radio Fumbisi, Radio Builsa, Sunshine Fm, Quality fm, Zebs FM, Gurune Style FM amongst others.

The initiative is also set to reach out to presenters in the Upper West and Northern Region.
