Ghana Records 156 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Count Now 6,964

Ghana’s Coronavirus cases have risen from 6,808 to 6,964 according to the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye as at Sunday May 24 but announced today, Tuesday, May 26 at the Ministry of Information press conference.

This adds an additional 156 new cases from the last update on Monday.

The new cases were idientified in 5 out of the 16 regions.

The number of recovery cases have also increased from 2,070 to 2,097, meaning an additional 27 recoveries.

15 cases are severe but not on ventilators; UGMC - 4, Ga East - 3, Ho - 1, Korle Bu - 3, Kumasi - 3, 37 Military Hospital- 1.

The number of deaths still remain at 32.

The Greater Accra region still leads with a total number of 72 new cases, Western is second with 57, Central reported 13 new cases, Volta region also reported an increase of 10 cases and Ashanti region reported 4 new cases.
