Media personality Caroline Sampson is poised to entertain listeners of Accra’s Asaase Radio as host of the station’s late morning to early afternoon show, Brunch Show, from 10:00am to 1:00pm daily.

“We are thrilled to have Caroline join us. She comes to Asaase with a strong following of her own. She understands the vision of Asaase, which is a pan-Africanist media platform determined to promote and project the best of Ghanaian and African arts and culture,” Nana Opoku Agyemang, CEO of Asaase Radio, said.

Caroline “epitomizes entertainment. She is a delight to listen and represents the best in entertainment Africa can offer to radio listeners everywhere,” Naomi Nelson, head of Communications, Marketing & Events for Asaase Radio, stated.

“We didn’t come to play so buckle up for the most amazing radio experience you can ever imagine,” Caroline Sampson, who promises to blend the best in music from Ghana, Africa and beyond with the best in entertainment tit-bits, also added.

The fast-rising media outlet, which is already nurturing a strong following with its excellent mix of music on 99.5FM and active social media presence, would officially be launched on Sunday, June 14, with Kwaku Sakyi-Addo’s Sunday Night at 7:00pm.

Caroline, on the hand, launched her media career first with Atlantis Radio hosting Continuous Drive and Mellow Cruise. She moved to GTV to host the U-Win Game Show, then subsequently to TV3 hosting Hitz Video.

Caroline joined Citi FM, hosting the daily programme Room 973, and two other shows on the station, Rhythms In The Citi and Citi Countdown. After two years with Citi FM, she joined popular youth-focused radio station, YFM and ETV GH. She was the presenter of YFM’s lunch time show, Shouts On Y, until her exit recently.

The talented media personality with a large social media following has won many awards, including best presenter at the Stars Integration of Culture of Africa (SICA) Festival & Competition held in Benin in 2009 and best female radio personality at the third edition of Ghana Entertainment Awards USA in 2019. She also received the fourth XWAC-Africa Award of Honour For Media Excellence 2019.

“Our programming will be provocative and innovative to push us to be the most valued, reliable, accurate and authoritative multimedia platform in West Africa,” Mr. Opoku Agyemang indicated.
