NPP Primaries: Mame Yaa Caution Aspirants And Delegates Against Vote Buying

The Deputy Communication Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mame Yaa Aboagye has caution Aspirants and Delegates against vote-buying as the party heads to parliamentary primaries today.

According to her, vote-buying will only optimize who has the most money and not for which policies result in the interest of the constituency adding “the party remains supreme and your conduct must be within the democratic tenets of the party.”

To her NPP as a party has always conducted its elections in a decorous and transparent manner which has earned the party an accolade over the years and is expecting aspirants and delegates to follow traditions in today's primaries.

She also urged the supporters of the aspirant to avoid politics of insults, lies, and unnecessary provocations which she describes as inimical to the party.

She, therefore, appealed to all aspirants and their supporters to uphold the interests of the party either as winners or losers.
