The Upper East Regional Minister, Madam Tangoba Abayage has won the Navrongo Central New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in the Kassena-Nankana Municipality.
The Minister who contested Mr Joseph Kofi Adda, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) polled 307 votes while Mr Adda polled 266 votes.
Rejected ballots were six.
The Navrongo Central Constituency has about 598 delegates with 36 electoral areas and 107 polling stations.
Madam Abayage would contest with Mr Sampson Tangombu Chiragia the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary aspirant for Navrongo Central Constituency, in the December general elections.
