The Electoral Commission's attention has been drawn to an audio that is making rounds on several social media platforms regarding the Guarantor System being used by the Electoral Commission.

The said post by a gentleman who introduced himself as McKenzie is false and should completely disregarded, the Commission has said in a statement.

In a statement signed by the its Ag. Director, Public Affairs, Sylvia Annoh, the Commission urges the general publicto refer to its news and information portals for credible information regarding the registration process.

"We encourage the general public to be circumspect and assist the Electoral Commission to deliver a credible register by being vigilant and ensuring that fake news is not spread,"  she said.
