BOST Shuts Down Head Office After 36 Staff Tested Positive
The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) Company Limited has closed down its Head Office at Dzorwulu in the Ayawaso West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region from Monday July 6, 2020 due to outbreak of the COVID-19 in the office.
In press release copied to Peacefmonline.com, the Company’s Corporate Communications and External Affairs indicated that closure of the Head Office has become necessary due to a mass testing of staff carried out by the company in the wake of a staff of the IT department testing positive for the virus.
The press statement added that after the mass testing, a number of the staff tested positive and arrangements are being made for their treatment. A senior staff who pleaded anonymity mentioned that 36 staff have tested positive after the mass testing.
Management of BOST however has assured the general public that the new arrangement after the closure of the Head Office will not negatively impact the operations of the company as their staff has the needed facilities and enhancements to work from home within the period.
“Management would further like to assure the general public that this arrangement will not negatively impact the operations of the company since all staff have the needed facilities and enhancements to work from home within the period”, the statement read.

BOST CLOSES DOWN HEAD OFFICE DUE TO COVID-19
Accra-6th July, 2020: The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited, BOST would like to announce for the information of the general public that it has closed down its head office at Dzorwulu in the Ayawaso West Municipality from Monday, 6th July to Monday 13th July, 2020.
This has become necessary due to a mass testing of staff carried out by the company at the head office in the wake of a staff of the IT department testing positive for the virus. After the mass testing, a number of the staff tested positive and arrangements are being made for their treatment.
In the estimation of management, the Ghana Health Service should be able to reach out to these members of staff and isolate them for treatment within the week. The head office will be fumigated over the period to ensure the safety of staff is not compromised when work resumes.
Management would further like to assure the general public that this arrangement will not negatively impact the operations of the company since all staff have the needed facilities and enhancements to work from home within the period.
