Respect My Decision, Don't Come Insulting - Afia Schwarzenegger Tells Critics After "4 More 4 Nana" Campaign

Comedienne and Presenter Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger has asked former President John Dramani Mahama to bear with her in her recent endorsement of the NPPs flagship program, the Free SHS.

According to her, it is her unselfish desire that has led her to endorse the Nana Addo led NPP government for another Four (4) year term in government.

"In as much as I would have you come back to lead this country as President, I equally believe that some people and for that matter Ghanaians also need to enjoy the free SHS policy which my two (2) children have relatively enjoy and their continues stay in power will also afford other Ghanaians the opportunity to have their wards educated and I believe that if the NPP government is allowed to stay in power, they will continue with the policy for other families to enjoy," she said in a video which has gone viral.

Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' program, she appealed to the former President to bear with her and understand her recent decision.

"I know I will be the biggest beneficiary if the John Mahama government is given the opportunity to lead this country again but I cannot remain selfish to deprive other Ghanaians who can not afford to pay for their children's schools," she said.

Afia Schwarzenneger, a fierce critic of Ghana's President HE. Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and a best friend of the former President, HE John Dramani Mahama in a recent video has asked Ghanaians to vote for the NPP government and Nana Akufo-Addo for him to continue with their free SHS policy which he believes will help other Ghanaians especially the girls to acquire knowledge and not indulge in activities that will endanger their future.

" . . I'm sure a lot of people will be disappointed hearing from me on air because calls have come in and I've chosen not to talk to anybody, I'm doing what I think is right . . . I will love everybody to respect my decision which will not become words trading and insults . . . I'm sure my Father, John Dramani Mahama being a democratic man he is will sit down and nod, even though he will be hurt, I'm sure he will go with me on my decision . . ." she told Kwame Nkrumah 'Tikese'
