"NDC Will Be Making A Terrible Mistake If, . . ." - Seth Terkper

Former Minister for Finance and Economic Planning under the erstwhile Mahama administration, Seth Terkper, has advised the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to start strategizing on how to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

The NDC led by its flagbearer, John Mahama is seeking to take over the reins of government from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The Akufo-Addo led administration has been spearheading the fight against Covid-19 since the country recorded its first two cases and according to them, they have shown commitment to winning the fight so far; critics have a different opinion.

Seth Terkper speaking in a one-on-one interview on Neat FM's 'Me Man Nti' programme said: " . . the NDC will be making a terrible mistake downplaying the effects of COVID because we don’t know how long it will last like the two and a half years of dumsor; we wouldn’t know and it’s going to be severer; so we better come in prepared as an opposition".
