WASSCE Riots: It's Possible NDC Were Behind Attacks On Prez Akufo-Addo - Kokofu Alleges

Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama constituency, Henry Kwabena Kokofu has alleged that the opposition NDC was behind the violent behavior of the SHS students who tarnished the reputation of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to him, the students were incited by the NDC against President Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma programme, Kwabena Kokofu said; “NDC cannot collapse free SHS today or tomorrow. Free SHS has come to stay and there is nothing they can do about it. You, NDC, because of your wickedness, it is possible to hide behind the children and incite them against President Akufo-Addo’s flagship free SHS program.”

"What shows that it was not you who deceived the children to insult the President?“ he rhetorically asked.

He also defended the President over the past questions given to the students prior to their final exam.

"Past question is part of the learning process to prepare students for examination. So, there is nothing wrong with government buying the student's past questions, because not every parent, especially the vulnerable, can afford to buy their wards past questions ahead of the final exams," he justified.
