Akufo-Addo Only Prez To Undertake Major Infrastructure Dev't In First Term - Veep's Spokesperson

Technical Advisor to Vice President Dr. Bawumia, Dr. Gidoen Boako has touted President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the first President in Ghana's history to undertake a massive infrastructure development in the first term of administration.

According to Dr. Gideon Boako, all governments tend to roll out developmental projects during their second term but the current administration has successfully taken bold initiatives in the first term to improve the lives of Ghanaians.

He made this comment while speaking on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'' on Monday.

''President Akufo-Addo's government is the only government that, in its first term, has started major infrastructure and completed some of them...Look at Tema Interchange, it happened in the first term of President Akufo-Addo. This is the first time in our history,in a government's first term, that we have seen about four or five interchanges ongoing at the same time,” he emphasized.

This, he noted, is a remarkable feat by the government and was optimistic the President will be given another term to continue his good works.

He also disclosed that the Vice President will have a ''Town Hall and Results Fair'' on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 to detail Ghanaians on the major infrastructure projects undertaken by the Akufo-Addo administration.

He stressed during the town hall meeting, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his economic team will give a transparent account of how the government has and is utilizing the financial purse of the economy.
