Mame Yaa Nominated As Member Of Ashanti Regional NPP Campaign Team; Grateful To Prez. Akufo-Addo And First Lady
Deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mame Yaa Aboagye has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo for the opportunity given her to serve the NPP.
Mame Yaa has been nominated as a 2020 election campaign team member for the Ashanti Region.
Mame Yaa, in a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com, pledged full support to ensure resounding victory for the NPP in December 7 polls.
“I wish to thank the First Lady H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo for giving me that great opportunity to start active politics. Indeed, it was a baptism of fire and I am who I am today because of the great platform she gave me.”
She therefore called on all supporters to promote the achievements of President Akufo-Addo and his government.

Today, I am privileged to be named as a member of the Ashanti Regional Campaign team of the NPP for the 2020 General Elections. It is an Honour, deeply cherish and will work hard to preserve it.
I wish to thank the First Lady H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo for giving me the great opportunity to start active politics. Indeed, it was a baptism of fire and I am who I am today because of the great platform she gave me.
I am also eternally grateful to H.E.Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for nominating me to serve as a National Officer of this Great party.
Experience is the best teacher. I count myself blessed for the rare opportunity to serve one of the most experienced and longest serving executives of our party - the General Secretary John Boadu.
Charity begins at home. Thus, in order to make an impact in politics, one needs to start from home. Ashanti Region is my home and throughout my political life I have served and made my presence felt here. I am excited to be part of this campaign team under the leadership of Chairman Wontumi. It is a blessing to have a young regional chairman who inspires the youth to get involved in active politics.
I pledge my full support for this campaign, and I always promise to be available to serve wholeheartedly to ensure another resounding victory for the NPP on 7th December 2020.
Let us all - young, old, men, women- get involved to promote the great achievements of President Akufo-Addo and his government.
