Ghanaians Know You Already; No More Tricks! - C/R Minister To Mahama

The Minister for Central Region, Kwamena Duncan has asked former President John Dramani Mahama not to have a headache over the 2020 elections because he is not coming back to power.

Contributing to Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'' on Wednesday, Mr Duncan stated that this year's elections will majorly center on the track record of the Akufo-Addo and Mahama governments.

He stressed that it won't be about promises no more but rather what both governments have achieved to better the lives of Ghanaians and enhance economic progress.

Hon. Kwamena Duncan strongly believes the erstwhile Mahama administration cannot compare its performance to what President Nana Akufo-Addo has achieved in his first term in government, adding that Ghanaians have already tasted the poor governance of John Mahama.

"In this election, it is not President Mahama's promises. It is President Mahama's record. He is not an unknown person. He's not a new person descending from above but someone who we have tested before as Vice President in three and half years, President because we lost a certain President for half a year and then President after he was voted for four-year term. So, we know him very well. It's not he's coming to tell us something new; he's works are already there," he posited.

He therefore called on Ghanaians "not to give an ear to this former President who only seeks to divide our society''.
