Pru West: DCE Commissions Health Facility At Daman Nkwanta

The District Chief Executive for Pru West/NPP parliamentary candidate, Hon. Stephen Jallulah says his outfit will continue to revive all the health centers in the District to ensure efficient health care delivery to meet the health care needs of the people.

The District Chief Executive reiterated that the health of the people was paramount to the overall development of the District and the nation at large.

Mr. Jallulah said this when he commissioned a Health center at Daman Nkwanta in the Pru West District of the Bono East Region.

Inaugurating the facility the DCE said the community was in dire need of the health posts since they had to cover many kilometers before accessing medical attention at Abeasi or Prang health center.

According to him, the community produce the chunk of food especially yam, maize and beans to feed the rest of the District and as such needed to seek medical attention all the time.

Hon. Jallulah asked the people to put politics aside and maintain the health facilities so that it could be converted into a hospital in future.

He also appealed to them to desist from self medication as they now have a health center.

The Paramount Chief of Abeasi Traditional area, Obrempong Kru Takyi II thanked the DCE for the numerous developmental projects he had sanctioned in the District and their communities.

According to the Chief, it had not been easy for pregnant women to deliver in the past due to the absence of a health facility.

He said the DCE is a symbol of hope and development and asked his subjects to put the politics aside and rally behind him.

"Nananom" used the occasion to appeal to government to focus her attention on their roads in the District to boost cash crop production.
