Parliamentary Candidate for Buem Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of attempting to seek solace in the area of infrastructure after its abysmal economic management of the country.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo government, upon realization of its much-touted best management of the economy claim hitting the fan, tried to use infrastructural development to cover up their shame.

Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, the former National Organizer of the opposition party, wondered when the ruling NPP started to recognize infrastructural projects as development.

“Is it not the same NPP that said that infrastructure does not count as development? Now, having seen their total failure in the area they paraded themselves as champions, which is the management of the economy, they have joined in the infrastructure development bandwagon," he jabbed.

To him, the only label or tag that best fits the NPP, and which no one can contend with them is "lords of debt cum destroyer of companies", since the governing party has virtually collapsed all companies that use to thrive and flourish under the administration of John Dramani Mahama, whiles leaving several others debt-ridden.

“Institutions and companies which used to received awards under the NDC are now collapsing under the NPP . . . 

"Under the NDC, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom used to be known as ‘Edwuma Wura’ but now, under the NPP, he has become ‘Eka Wura’; he was called ‘Edwuma Wura’ because he was opening more companies under the NDC regime. We cannot call him ‘Edwuma Wura’ again under the NPP government,” he stressed.
