A Communications team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chris Doughan says the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a “419 party”.
According to him, the NPP is full of deception.
"A typical character of NPP and elephant party as you know them is 419 and Pharisee way of deceiving Ghanaians . . . What is a policy without legal backing? What is the guarantee that the NABCO employees’ lives are secure in the future. The future of the NABCO employees is frightening without a legal backing to their jobs . . . their work should not be a table top payment but must be secure to cater for their families in the future,” he said on UTV’s Late News.
“NPP policies were wobbling without direction because it took the NDC administration to give NYEP a legal backing and the employees within that sector became secure, so stop throwing dust in the eyes of Ghanaians . . . all your achievements over the years has been a fringe work because you started giving employment to the unemployed graduate without any legal backing but it took visionary leaders to work and secure their future,” he added.
