Offinso South is a constituency in the Ashanti Region and it’s considered a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

This constituency votes massively for the ruling party both presidential and parliamentary per data compared from 1996-2016.

Ben Abdallah Banda who has been the Member of Parliament since 2008 will not be returning to his seat after the December 7 election since he lost in the NPP primaries.

The New NPP parliamentary candidate is Isaac Yaw Opoku.
