Kade is a constituency in the Eastern region and it’s considered a stronghold for the NPP.

NPP has won this parliamentary seat consecutively in the past 6 elections: 1996 to 2016

The incumbent NPP Member of Parliament, Kwabena Ohemang Tinyase took over from Ofosu Asamoah in 2016.

However, his bid to seek a second term failed as he lost during the NPP parliamentary primaries to Alexander Kwadwo Agyare.
