Ningo/Prampram constituency is located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and it’s considered a stronghold of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to 1996 to 2016 election data, the NDC continuously wins both presidential and parliamentary elections with a huge margin.

The incumbent Member of Parliament is Sam George and he is seeking reelection in the forthcoming December 7 election.

Sam George will be coming up against a presidential staffer, Alexander Martey of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The NPP has not won this seat since 1992 but Alex Martey hopes to change that.
