Residents of Kwao Bondzie in the Awutu Senya West District in the Central Region have called on the Inspector General of Police to intensify Police patrols in the area over land-guard activities which have resulted in a pregnant woman being hospitalized while another gets miscarriage.

Residents of the town lament that women and children are living in fear for their lives as a result of the rampant shooting and violence in the area.

Just a week ago, massive shooting incidents occurred at Kwao Bondzie over land disputes causing three people to sustain injuries. 

The resident want the IGP to order for the arrest of the leader of the land guards named Michael Larbie who is also said to be a Police officer.
