Ketu North constituency can be found in the Volta Region of Ghana and it’s considered a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The opposition NDC has held on to power in the constituency for years as efforts for the NPP to take over have proved futile.

According to 1996 to 2016 election statistics, the NDC consecutively wins both presidential and parliamentary elections with a huge margin.

The incumbent Member of Parliament who contested on the ticket of the NDC is Dr James Klutse Avedzi. He has occupied this position since 2004 and he is seeking reelection in the upcoming December 7 election.
