Ghana Election 2020: Voting History In Ketu South Constituency

Ketu South constituency can be found in the Volta Region of Ghana and it’s considered a safe seat for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

This constituency has a voter population of over 140,000 and has been voting consistently for the largest opposition party since it was created.

According to 1996 to 2016 election statistics, the NDC consecutively wins both presidential and parliamentary elections with a huge margin.

The incumbent Member of Parliament who contested on the ticket of the NDC is Fiifi Kwetey. He has occupied this position since 2012.

The NDC has however elected a new candidate to contest in the upcoming since the incumbent decided not to seek reelection.

Therefore on December 7, 2020, Madam Dzifa Gomashie of the NDC will battle it out with David Thiano of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

So will the NDC continue to maintain supremacy in this constituency or will the NPP take over? It is up to the over 140,000 voters to decide.
