Ghana Election 2020: Voting History In Amenfi Central Constituency

Amenfi Central constituency is located in the Western Region of Ghana and it’s considered a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to 1996 to 2016 election statistics, the NDC consecutively wins both presidential and parliamentary elections in this constituency.

Even though the victory is not by a huge margin, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been finding it difficult to take over the constituency.

The incumbent Member of Parliament is Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah of the NDC and he is seeking reelection in the upcoming December 7 election.

He will be coming face to face with P.H. Amponteng of the ruling party.

Meanwhile, the NPP is poised to snatch the seat from the NDC in this year's election while the latter is determined to maintain dominance.
