Ghana Election 2020: Voting History In Takoradi Constituency
Takoradi constituency is located in the Western Region of Ghana. It's considered a stronghold for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The ruling party has held on to power in the constituency for years as efforts for the NDC to take over have proved futile.
According to 1996 to 2016 election statistics, the NPP consecutively wins both presidential and parliamentary elections with a huge margin.
The incumbent Member of Parliament is Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah and he’s seeking reelection.
On December 7, 2020, the incumbent will battle it out with Lawyer Frederick Faidoo of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
