MP For Tano South Pays For Apprenticeship Programs Of 1500 People

The Member of Parliament for Tano South, Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere, has paid GHC40,000 for the training of one thousand five hundred young men and women in various fields of apprenticeship.

The amount which is a part payment of the entire quantum has been paid to the trainers of the apprentices.

The apprentices are being trained in dressmaking, hairdressing, masonry, carpentry and other areas.

This, according to the Member of Parliament, is in line with his overwhelming desire to help those in the informal sector to be able to contribute to the development of the municipality and their own personal lives as well.

The MP has also pledged that more people would be captured in this area so as to help improve the living standards of the people.

It would be recalled that, Honourable Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere, not long ago, made a cash donation of GHC20,000 to the staff and management of private schools in Tano South.

The MP, by this gesture, has shown that the human development aspect of his constituents means a lot to him as he is set to do more in his second term of office.
