'We Tin Man No See Before' - Jennifer Queen Jabs Mahama
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama says the only infrastructural development the Akufo-Addo led government has achieved in the Ashanti Region is the construction of 'small toilets'.
“If he mentions that he has done so much, he should unbundle the infrastructure and allow us to see the projects one by one. They are full of small small toilet facilities. And I got somewhere and realized that the association of contractors building these toilet facilities had not even been paid. Over 539 of them were complaining,” Mr. Mahama pointed out.
However, Deputy Communication Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen disagrees with the former President.
In an interaction on Neat FM's 'Me Man Nti' programme, she said, "if I were close to the former President, I would have stopped him from speaking for 10 years, because anytime he speaks it puts his followers in a bad light . . . all you see are toilets? In your time you were commissioning even balloons so what is wrong with commissioning toilets? We were in this country when he brought a lady who reportedly rears pig to Parliament . . . we tin man no see before?".
