There Can't Be Drugs When There's Chaos - Pharmaceutical Society Calls For Peace

The Eastern Regional chapter of Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) has called on Ghanaians to promote peace during the election period to avoid any chaos.

Again, PSGH-Eastern Region urged Ghanaians to be more resolute and committed to seeing that peace prevail during and after the December election.

The press release signed by the Regional Chairman, Mr. George Attara-Boye indicated that PSGH-ER was committed to running its business operations smoothly to support the health of others who may need medicines from them.

He said there would be the need for peace to allow his colleagues undertaking medical researches to develop drugs have room for the success of their operation.

He explained it can be curtailed when chaos characterizes the election and there would be the need for pharmacists to remain at home just like the period of the lockdown.

He also said that "one cannot seek refuge elsewhere even if one can afford, in all humility”.

In an exclusive interview with Peace FM news, he urged the youth to be firm and resist persuasions from politicians that intend using them to foment violence during the elections.
