The Deputy Northern Regional Minister and Member of Parliament-elect for the Zabzugu constituency, Hon. John Bennam Jabaah has expressed shock at the claim by the National Democratic Congress(NDC) that they have won the seat.

According to Hon. John Bennab, the constituents voted massively for him because they regret voting him out during the 2016 elections which turned him into a former MP of the constituency.

In an interview with Peace FM’s Pious Baidoo Banson, Hon John Bennab also accused the NDC of threatening the Electoral Commission (EC) Officials who presided over the elections because they saw their candidate had been defeated.

He disclosed there were some violent confrontations but the security agencies insulated the EC officials.

He further denied that he manipulated the results, stressing “all documents and pink sheets confirm my victory”.
