Second Year Of Roads In My Second Term - Prez Akufo-Addo Assures
The President HE Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has disclosed that the year of roads agenda of the NPP government continues unabated.
He says his government will continue to provide a proper road network for the people of Ghana.
Speaking at his swearing-in ceremony, he explained that his government within the last year has provided a proper road network to the people of Ghana at a faster rate and that his government will not relent in their effort but continue with the massive road infrastructure for the people of Ghana.
"Indeed this year will be the second year of roads," he said.
He reiterated his government will continue to be dealing with the deficit of the road network in the country.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo tagged the year 2020 as the “Year of Roads.”
His government embarked on an aggressive road development across Ghana.
Touching briefly on the provision of electricity, he noted that his second term will see the provision of electricity to the remaining 15% of the remaining communities in the country.
