500 Streets Children Receive Support From NGO

The Lydia Darko – Acheampong Foundation, (LDAF), a non-profit organizatione established to bridge the gap between the privileged and less privileged in the Ghanaian society has donated food items to 500 streets children in Accra. 

The NGO was primarily established to lead advocacy in the areas of children and women empowerment as well as provide support for bright but needy students.

The founder of the organization Mrs. Lydia Darko Acheampong explained that, though the foundation is a new one, it will strive to achieve its goal of empowering children and women.

She stated ‘Primarily we are looking at charity and unbridled humanitarian work entered at children and woman empowerment.

They also paid a visit to the of people Nankesido of Salt pond in the Central Region of Ghana to donate food items and clothing to the Nankesido community and also handed over a completed water-for-all- project to the people of kyebi Ahwenease community.
