Airtel MD Serves Customers

A team of senior management of Airtel Ghana Limited, led by Managing Director, Mr. Philip Sowah, has embarked on a customer service campaign to serve and interact with customers in order to know at first hand, their concerns about the services being provided them by the company. The purpose of the senior management customer service campaign is to express the company�s total commitment to ensuring quality customer service to all clients at all times, and also express gratitude to customers for keeping faith in the network. Mr. Sowah, said the Airtel serve the customer campaign, is an opportunity for top management of the company to serve customers, interact with them and express gratitude to customers for making Airtel the best customer care customer company; best marketing company, and best CEO in the just ended Ghana Telecoms Awards. �We at Airtel are always committed to striving for leadership in everything we do as a communication company, and that delivering a world-class innovative and quality customer service has always been the hallmark in everything we do as service provider company� he said. Mr. Sowah intimated that serving and interacting directly with customer s is a gesture of reciprocity to at least meet some of the customers and pledge their commitment to giving them the best of quality service they need, adding that moving forward has been the core performance of the team. The customer service campaign, he noted, will be sustained and embarked upon by the management team twice every month in order to interact more and know the concerns of customers on whom the success of the company depends. Mr. Sowah reiterated the company�s commitment to intensifying its education on the Mobile Number Portability campaign by the National Communications Authority which is set to take effect from July, and promised Airtel�s commitment to remaining the best service provider in the communications industry. The Managing Director has also assured the public of He also urged all customers of the network to register their SIM cards so as to help the National Communications Authority succeed its campaign so as to be able to protect the safety and security of all in the country. Director of Communications of the company, Donald Gwira, on the other hand, urged customers to take advantage of the two- SIM starter pack, designed to encourage lifetime companionship, by allowing two customers to enjoy a discounted lifetime offering covering voice, data and several value added services, meant to give customers value for money. Urged customers to take advantage of the SIM starter pack with two SIM cards with consecutive numbers set in order to standardize the SIM card body, the first innovation to be introduced by any communication network in Africa.
