Information Minister-designate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has on behalf of the Akufo-Addo government commended Ghanaians for their corporation during the activities commemorating the final funeral rite of former President Jerry John Rawlings.

According to the Ofoase-Ayirebi Member of Parliament, the government noted the public’s compliance with the COVID-19 preventive etiquettes and heed to the call to as much as possible following the event virtually which resulted in the avoidance of large crowds at the event.

Addressing the media in a press briefing at the Conference room of the Information Ministry, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah again commended the media for its corporation and a professional way of giving an in-depth coverage during the activities at the final funeral rite.
