Deal Decisively With The LGBTQI Issue - Prez Akufo-Addo Urged

The Principal of Jackson College of Education (JCE), Theodosia Jackson, has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to take a firm decision to permanently ban activities of the LGBTQI in Ghana.

She said it is not enough for the President to declare that the legalization of LGBTQI would not happen under his watch.

Mrs. Jackson wants the President to go a step further by initiating legislation to completely ban the practice now and in the future.

"The President's declaration that it won't happen while he is the President suggests that it could happen after he has left office so he must save us the trouble of going back to this issue once and for all", she told the media in an interview.

She said the LGBTQI is an abomination that must not be countenance as a people, especially when all our religious groups and traditional authorities frown upon it.

The renowned counselor said it is shameful for some people to advocate for this satanic practice on the grounds of human rights.

She said those who perpetrate crimes such as prostitution, defilement, robbery, and drug abuse also have rights but the police still go after them.

She appealed to the President to address the root cause of the problem to save the present generation and posterity from the dangers associated with the LGBTQI
