We believe it is the fairest and fastest way to achieve our goals.''

Minority Boo Chief Justice And Second Lady

When the President ended his speech, the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin seized an opportunity to acknowledge dignitaries at the function.

The Speaker recognized the presence of the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah but the Minority hooted and booed him.

Second Lady Samira Bawumia also got her share from the Minority when the Speaker acknowledged her.

The Minority shouted; ''We want Ramatu''.

National Day of Shame

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Kwamena Duncan expressed disappointment in the Minority over their conduct.

He declared Tuesday's SONA as a ''National Day of Shame'' on the Minority, stressing they are an embarrassment to the nation.

“Where are we drifting? What sin did the Chief Justice commit? What’s Justice Kwesi Annin Yeboah’s crime? Such an embarrassment in the house of our representatives!...These are our leaders. The Members of Parliament are our leaders and they must show cause that, look, we are leaders and providing leadership.

“It’s an utter disgrace! And you’re saying that, next time, when the Chief Justice has a role to play; a duty to perform in Parliament, that he will feel in his will, in his body, flesh and soul, he will feel welcome to go there,” Kwamena fumed.
