Allotey Jacobs Slams Minority In Parliament

Bernard Allotey Jacobs, former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has warned the NDC of an impending danger following their behaviour towards the Second Lady of Ghana, Samira Bawumia and Chief Justice Anin Yeboah.

The NDC Minority in Parliament hooted and booed the two personalities when they were acknowledged by the Speaker of Parliament after President Nana Addo gave his State of the Nation Address before the House on Tuesday, March 9.

In the specific case of Samira Bawumia, the Minority hooted; ''We want Ramatu''.

This "Ramatu" has been associated with the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his second wife but undisclosed to the public.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Allotey Jacobs castigated the Minority calling their action an embarrassment to the nation.

“What they did to Bawumia’s wife and that of the Chief Justice, it shall come to pass. Oh! Jesus Christ!! Withal are we going? Was it being done to pacify some group of people in their party or they look at themselves as men of dignity? Well, it shall come to pass!”, he stressed.
