The Mamprusis Community in the USA has congratulated their fellow native, Hajia Alima Mahama as Ghana’s new ambassador to the United States.
 
The group in a statement signed by its President, Prince-Kamal Gumah said they are a delight with the president’s choice.
 
“The Chiefs and elders of the Mamprugu community wish to thank His Excellency the President Nana Addo D. Akuffour for choosing their own for this extract ordinary position, we say thank you to Mr President,” the statement read
 
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will soon be announcing former Minister of Rural Development Hajia Alima Mahama as the nation’s new Ambassador to the United States.
