NPP Honours J. A Braimah; Celebrates His Legacy With A Book Launch
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will, on Thursday, May 20, 2021, honour the legendary J.A Braimah, a co-founder of the Northern People’s Party, one of the political traditions from which the New Patriotic Party takes its root.
Among other things, the legacies of J.A Braimah will be celebrated and honored with a Book Lunch, titled, J.A Braimah: Biography of a Trailblazer, authored by Mr. Alhassan Ahmed.
The book shall be launched by H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic, who is also the Special Guest of Honour for the occasion.
Details of the event are as follows:
Date: Thursday, 20th May, 2021 [i.e. this evening]
Venue: Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, Accra
Time: 4: 30pm
The event, which shall be chaired by Hon Yaw Osafo Maafo, is expected to be graced by the diplomatic community, nationalists, government officials, politicians, chiefs and the leadership of the NPP including the General Secretary, John Boadu, who shall deliver the party’s statement.
