Headteacher Shot Dead In His House At Cape Coast: One Suspect Arrested
The Central Region Police Command has arrested one suspect allegedly involved in the shooting of a headteacher in the Central Region.
Unknown gunmen shot and killed Yaw Eyifa Gorman, the headteacher in his home at Cape Coast.
Dr Sting as he is popularly called was shot in his car after he returned home from a census training on Saturday evening.
DSP Irene Serwaa Oppong, PRO of the Central Regional Police Command giving an update in an interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' said the suspect teaches in the same school with the late 'Dr Sting'.
Police investigation indicates that there is bad blood between the deceased and the suspect.
An incident even ensued between the two of them before the shooting on the same day according to DSP Irene Oppong.
