The former President John Mahama has been trending on social media for stopping to help some riders who had been involved in an accident.

Mr Mahama who was on his way to Ho in the Volta Region stopped to find out what was happening and to ensure the accident victims were taken care of.

He could be heard in various videos which have gone viral asking if an ambulance had been called to pick up the injured.
