The Member of Parliament for Sene East Constituency, Hon.Dominic Napare has handed over a three-unit classroom block and an office complex to the staff and pupils of Gbilli SDA Primary School in the Sene East District.

The MP at a short ceremony on Sunday, 8th August, 2021 commissioned the newly constructed project for use.

Mr.Domonic Napare explained that the completion of the School is in fulfillment of a pledge he made to the community members of Gbilli during the 2020 general elections.

He said the provision of the educational infrastructure is part of his determination to uplift the face of the educational sector in the Sene East District.

The MP also mentioned that education is key to every development; hence he has decided to make education a priority as an MP for the betterment of every child in the area.

Honourable Dominic Napare while addressing the media also promised to provide the school with furniture to enhance teaching and learning.

On the maintenances culture, he advised both the teachers and the community members to pay attention to the facility and put it into good use.

“I am also appealing to both teachers and community members to pay good attention to the facility and ensure it is put into good use so that in future when we come back here we will be happy with the state of the building”, he appealed.

On his part the Sene East Distirct Education Director, Mr.Ahmmed Nasil Ibrahim
commended the MP for giving education in the district the needed push to improve quality education delivery.

He said the district education directorate would continue to work closely with the MP to solve the furniture challenges facing some schools in the district.

The Odikro of Gbilli Nana Akwasi Gbilli expressed his gratitude to the Member of Parliament for the kind gesture. He also used the opportunity to make known the need of the community. He pleaded with the MP to help build a teacher’s quarters for the community.
