The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has been denied bail and remanded in police custody.
The renowned pastor made his first appearance in court, Monday after he was arrested with three of his junior pastors for issuing threats, brandishing weapons and attacking Police officers on Sunday.
Lead counsel, Gary Nimako Marfo, requested that his clients be granted bail. However, the Accra Circuit court presided over by Afia Owusua Appiah, dismissed the application.
He is to reappear in court on Monday, September 20.
